Cofounder of the Company, which started operating as an agribusiness store on October 14, 1985, and was made into a large network with 243 megastores focused on selling pet care products, being a pioneer in the industry in Brazil. With a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá and an extension program in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), João Urbano Nassar has held management positions in various fields of work, such as manufacturing/steelmaking and agribusiness. Currently, he is engaged in pet retail and has both served as the Company’s New Business and Expansion Officer and the Chair of the Board of Directors since 2021.

Paulo Urbano Nassar has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from FEA of the University of São Paulo (USP), with an extension program completed at University of California, Berkeley, and a business masterclass program at Harvard Business School. He has been dedicating himself to the Company’s operations for 39 years, being also responsible for its digital transformation in the fiscal year ended December 31, 2017. Currently, he is the Chief Executive Officer and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2021.

With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a specialist degree in Marketing from Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation (FAAP), Ricardo Urbano Nassar has early dedicated himself to the consolidation of the Cobasi pet retail brand and the conception of the service unit franchises project of the subsidiary Pet Anjo, with a vast knowledge of the business. He has administered the Company for 35 years and is currently the Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer, as well as a member of the Board of Directors since 2021.

He has a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the Military Institute of Engineering (Instituto Militar de Engenharia – IME) and has a master’s degree in Digital Systems from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo – USP. He is the founder and former CEO of TV1.com (from 1994 to 1999); the founder, CIO and CMO of Americanas.com (from 1999 to 2004); CIO and CMO of Cyrela Brasil Realty (from 2004 to 2008); founder, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Pontofrio.com (from 2008 to 2011), e-platform (from 2008 and 2011), e-hub (from 2008 to 2011), Nova Pontocom (from 2011 to 2014), and Cnova (from 2014 to 2016), having also led, in the latter, the IPO on NASDAQ. Currently, he holds the position of member of the Boards of Directors of Centauro CODIG, Kalunga, Falabella CF, CCE, Fravega, GOL CF, Payly, Quality, G2D, and Cobasi.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School of USP in 1995. He has been serving as Head and Partner of Private Equity at Kinea since September 2009. With over 20 years’ experience in private equity, he was an executive officer at AIG Capital Partners in Brazil and a member of the Boards of Directors of various companies. Currently, he is a member of the Boards of Directors of Panvel, Wiser, Cobasi, Blue Health, and Alvorada. Before engaging in private equity at AIG and Kinea, he worked at Banco ABN AMRO, and Itaú.
